After only a few hours of sleep, we anxiously awaited the doctor's approval for Doug to be dismissed. This morning felt like a waiting game. Sometimes Doug felt good and sometimes he felt sick. Fortunately things seemed to be getting back to normal around 10 and he was up and about in the room. The surgeon visited us around 11:30 and told us to get out and go home. Yay!
Doug slept a lot and watched some TV but once night time rolled around he was thirsty for a milkshake, so we got in the car and headed to G'Daddy's (basically a Dairy Queen) and got just that...a milkshake! I'm glad my Doug is starting to feel like his old self again.
